Back to basics
With every single one of our programs we take you right back to the beginning. You need to get back to the basics and be sure that the steps you are taking are the right ones for you.
Recently I watched a very dear friend go through an amazing journey of re-discovery, and not by choice. When the doctors discovered the tumor in his brain it had grown to the size of a golf ball. Removal of the tumor required the removal of his ear and the loss of his hearing. The effect the tumor had on his brain was huge; he had to re-learn how to walk, talk, read, balance andlive his entire life. With resolve and determination he is now very successful in his chosen career. He showed me that the basics are often overlooked and highlighted just how much we take for granted in our lives.
When you understand the basics and you understand how you process information you can begin to challenge yourself to create a plan of action and follow it. It is only through action that you will get a re-action.
Test your results
Create a series of checks and measures so that you can be aware of what is working for you and what isn't. If what you are doing isn't working for you then you need to adjust your game-plan and try again.
The great thing about goals is that when you reach them, you can simply create new ones to strive for. Start small and get a taste of success first. Savour the feeling of accomplishment but don't rest on your laurels. Use your success to boost yourself to the next level. Rinse and repeat.
